Here is a video from my #10Tips10Days Challenge.
Day 1: 10x Your Thinking
When you set the bar really high, it forces you to think outside the box and come up with innovative ways to reach your goals. Check out the video below for the benefits of 10x Your Thinking.
This is my day 1 of 10 Tips 10 Days.
Thank you to Vanessa Arseneau for nominating me.
My first tip for today is something I’ve been reading about.
It’s called 10x your thinking or shooting for the moon.
Instead of setting small goals that are easily attainable, you set goals that are far out there, that are 10 times what you think you can actually reach.
Doing this will create a sense of urgency and help you think outside the box.
I came up with a question for this,
“If I asked you to increase your income by 100k or 3x your business
Increase your business by 300%.”
Most people will look at me and ask – Scott how the hell am I going to do that?
That makes no sense; it’s way too big.
It’s to difficult to fathom being able to attain something like that.
But what if I said, “If you manage to do this, you’ll earn 10 million dollars?”
Now before you, jump and say it’s impossible, it’s impossible.
You might even stop yourself and say,
Shit if I can earn $100,000 and I could win $10 million How could I do that?
What could I implement?
What steps could I take, to be able to actually reach that goal?
And when you start thinking in larger terms, you won’t be using the same tactics and strategies that everybody uses, to make small steps forward.
It really gets you thinking outside the box.
Try this next time your setting a personal goal and try to 10x your goal.
See what comes out of your brainstorm when you think about how you can actually reach that goal.
